'The good, the bad & the ugly' // PAINTING

From my scratch card painting series 'You've gotta be in it to win it!".

This series is a tongue in cheek adaptation of our relationship around scratch cards or the lottery. A nod to all of the conversations I have had with friends & family members about what we would do if we won the lottery! The reaching for something so intangible but still being so accessible; as easy as buying a pint of milk or loaf of bread in the corner shop. Though instead of winning cash, these scratch cards aim to focus on what else we are taught to aim for. What else do we value in Western society other than cash? What else do we aspire to be or aspire to have?
